Story

Our story starts in 2009 when I was only 14 and Fernando was 16 years old at a Juan Luis Guerra concert. Fernando, as bold as he is, went over with a friend and randomly said hello to my friend and me and he casually started a conversation as if we had met before. Things ended that night and we didn’t see them again, we called him “El fly” (iykyk).

We didn’t see each other until five years later thanks to a friend in common, Lily S. As most of you know Fernando and his family own restaurants and I’m into the food content creation. So, she arranged a tasting for one of the restaurants where I created content for social media, which I later posted on my food blog. Once again, things ended there; but this time it was just business… A few days later he randomly called.

He later asked me out and suddenly we were dating. Months went by and in summer 2015 he went to study abroad and during one of our skype calls he popped the question… “do you want to be my girlfriend?” And on june 6th 2015 I officially became his girlfriend.

Years have gone by and we still feel as in love as the first day. Our love has grown into something special where we have evolved from being two teenagers into grown adults working towards our common goal: grow old together while achieving our dreams.
